Son of the legendary Dos Caras, Alberto fancies himself the Essence of Excellence.  The former CMLL World Champion looks to WCW to finally achieve greatness north of the border.

Drink.  Smoke.  Fight.  This is the mantra of one of the deadliest men in pro wrestling today.  Known best for putting Mickey Rourke through a table on the big screen, the Necro Butcher wants to make people hurt even more in WCW.

• A Flare for the Gold - this upcoming weekend, 5/6 and 5/7, WCW will be REBORN on Internet PPV with a special two-day event: A Flare for the Gold!  The two day event, which can be ordered as a package for the low price of $14.99 or separately for the low price of $9.99 for either show, will hold a 16-man tournament to determine the first WCW Champion of the new era.

• Tag team exhibitions - rumors are running rampant about what tag teams will be debuting this weekend.  Tag team wrestling plays an integral function in the mission statement of the newly-reborn WCW.  No doubt the tag division of WCW will hearken back to a time of tag team excellence like the Midnight Express and the Road Warriors.

• Competition - competitors in the 16-man WCW Championship tournament will be announced in sets of 4 over the next 4 days!  Each day that passes, four new competitors will be made known.
